Elementary Dean: Megan Choate
Megan begins her second year as the Elementary Dean at Xavier Charter School. She grew up in southern Idaho and prides herself on being a fifth generation Idahoan. She started her collegiate education pursuing the arts and after working in higher education for several years found a love for business and a passion for education. After graduating with her bachelor’s degree, Megan worked as an Academic Advisor and an Advising Coordinator in the College of Business and Economics at Boise State University. While working as a professional at the University, she earned her Master’s degree in Educational Leadership, started working toward her Master’s in Counseling, and taught classes for the Information Technology Management Department at the University.
In 2022, Megan joined the Xavier family as the Elementary Counselor. She loves working with children and their families and hopes to continue building a positive rapport within the Xavier community in her role as Elementary Dean.

Secondary Dean: Liz Parker
Mrs. Parker grew up in the American West, where she developed a deep appreciation and love for public lands. She, her husband, their daughter, and their lab spend much of their free time in the Lost River Range, the Pahsimeroi Valley, and Salmon, Idaho. Hiking, rafting, backcountry flying, and camping are several of her passions. She attended Idaho State University before beginning her teaching career at Xavier Charter School. In her tenure at Xavier, she has served as an Outdoor Club Advisor, coached cross country and Academic Decathlon, and served as the Secondary Academic Dean. She taught English for 8th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grades and deeply loves medieval literature, history, and art.
Mrs. Parker is passionately committed to cultivating the faculty and student culture at Xavier Charter School, and the school’s mission of cultivating minds and hearts through the Classical pursuit of Beauty, Goodness, and Truth.
